HISTORY OF SHORT STORY
The short
story has two different forms: the tale from the oral story-telling tradition
and the story like the actual work of fiction that all we know. This is a long
way that I going to tell you succinctly.
Vladimir
Nabokov tells that the literature was born the day when a child came to his
community and told “the wolf, the wolf…” and no wolf came behind him.
This
phrase suggests the difference between something that counts as truth but
reality doesn’t exist. The short story has a similar history.
